AEi Expands Senior Management Staff


Wilmington, MA – August 7, 2013 — Automation Engineering Incorporated (AEi), a global supplier of high-precision, flexible automation systems announces additions to its senior management staff as the company continues to grow to meet customer product, support and supply chain needs.

David C. Hamel assumes the role of director of global sales. In this role, Hamel will focus primarily on increasing sales of AEi’s CMAT (Camera Module Align, Assembly and Test) platform globally.  He brings over 15 years of experience in the management of multi-national capital equipment accounts in the areas of robotics, advanced thermal control, machine vision and manufacturing process software. Hamel joins AEi from Test Advantage Hardware where he was the director of sales. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Massachusetts.

Neil Pouliot joins the company as financial controller. In this strategic role, Pouliot will  guide AEi’s financial growth and stability as AEi furthers its goals to reduce costs and improve operations through strong leadership. He brings over 20 years of accounting experience and comprehensive financial analysis. Pouliot joins AEi from Trelleborg Offshore Boston where he was an accounting manager.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from Suffolk University.
