GEOFFREY OLSON TO LEAD CAMERA MODULE ASSEMBLY, ALIGNMENT AND TEST (CMAT)

OLSON TO DRIVE GLOBAL CMAT EXPANSION, CAMERA MODULE MARKET PENETRATION
Wilmington, MA - September 17, 2008 -- Automation Engineering Incorporated (AEi),
a global supplier of high-precision flexible automation systems, announced
Geoffrey Olson as product line manager to lead the global expansion of their
camera module assembly, alignment and test division. Olson brings over 15
years of experience in photonics and flexible automation. Prior to joining
AEi, he was responsible for corporate equipment technology at Flextronics
including development of the corporate equipment technology roadmap. During
his tenure he was responsible for corporate equipment evaluations and
equipment development projects including automated manufacturing equipment
for next-generation cell phone cameras and automatic fiber optic alignment
systems.

camera modules are manufactured and sold every year - many for cell phone

Olson earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Portland
State University with an emphasis in control engineering. He has also
continued his education with graduate courses in optics, lasers and
automation.
