Automated System Uses Machine Vision to Implement Precision Welds
Wilmington, Mass. November 15, 2002 - Automation Engineering Incorporated (AEi), a leading supplier of flexible automation solutions, today announced that it has received a new order to upgrade multiple laser welding machines with the latest version of the AEi FlexAuto integrated machine vision and motion control software.
"This new contract is with an existing customer than wanted to take advantage of our latest version of FlexAuto for their laser welding operations. This will provide them added flexibility and capabilities in quickly implementing a wider range of machine vision-guided weld trajectories for new products and variations on existing products they need to manufacture."
