AEI’s FlexAuto software controls the precision pick and place, bonding, and liquid dispensing machine; supporting three or four axes of servo control for positioning purposes and one or two machine vision cameras for process sequence teaching and automated motion trajectory compensation. The software enables operators to interactively teach and edit new process sequences without traditional programming. Shop floor personnel create sequences with FlexAuto’s graphical sequence logic editor. This provided the customer with a very intuitive and easy to learn sequence teaching environment.
